PERSEIDS PEAK AUGUST 12

Mark your calenders for August 12, and polish up those eye balls for a night of Perseid excitement. There is a New Moon on August 12, which lends to superb dark night observing.

The Perseid source is Comet Swift-Tuttle whose tail we intercept every August during our free yearly trip around the sun.

Wishing everyone clear dark skies !

I hope to find a good place to watch the Perseids this year.
