What planets did I see?

I'm not an astronomer, but I noticed stationery planets in the WNW sky while driving in the Chicago area around 9:30 pm today, June 27. They appeared quite large and it looked like 2 objects. Does anyone know what planets I saw?

Saturn, Venus and Regulus

Greetings from Rainy, Balmy, Hot and Humid Texas!

Saturn and Venus converge this weekend into a remarkably close encounter and are a beautiful sight for naked eye observing.
Check out Saturn's rings and crescent shaped Venus during your observing adventure.
Bright Venus is seen lower in the west during twilight with Saturn glimmering beside it early July and faint Regulus shines nearby.
Saturn will move slowly off to Venus's right during the month and as night falls, so does the bright trio.
Jupiter is the bright shiner in the south and that orange star below Jupiter is Antares.

.. well that is if you have CLEAR SKIES !
.. which we haven't seen around here in a while...

I think I saw the moon trying to break through the clouds last night...

Thanks for the planet ID. Our public library has astronomy nights during the summer, and they have telescopes available, so I think I'll try to go to one of these events to get a good look at the planet convergence. I'm sorry it's so rainy in TX. We spent some time in Oklahoma in the 70's and 80's and always wondered why they had huge drainage ditches. We don't have anything on that scale in Northern Illlinois. Now I know why...big floods happen in OK and TX. Hope it drys out soon. Thanks again.

Visit that library !

Ok: The Cosmic heard my shout and late last night around midnight, I went out to walk the dog and was able to see the full moon through "sucker holes". Jupiter was also up there, saluting me in the night... a week too late.
My Sweet Grandbaby spent a few days with me last week and was disappointed that we couldn't " see the pretty stars ".
..
It's a great weekend to visit your friendly astronomy club and do all the viewing you possibly can.
Wishing everyone a happy and pleasant weekend.
