According to an article I just read on www.space.com....
We now have 236 known exoplanets outside our solar system.
These range from dim and failed stars to Jupiter-sized giants.
These findings were presented by John Johnson (University of California at Berkley) to the American Astronomical Society's meeting yesterday.
You may wish to take a look at the article as there is quite a bit of information on the profiles of some of the individual planets and parent stars.
