Here's something cool:
Remember STEREO (Solar TErrestrial RElations Observatory) N.A.S.A. 's third Solar Terrestrial Probes program (STP) which was launched "way back yonder" in October 2006 ?
These 3D photos will be released on the web, in museums and on T.V. tomorrow.
Polish up your 3D glasses and get ready to be "Solarized" !
"Magnetic loops, prominences and plumes will practically leap out of your computer screen."

I actually saw a report about this on the evening news here. It's not often that non-medical science stuff gets attention but it seems like the Sun can draw an audience!
Aside from the scientific benefits 3d images of the Sun are sure to fascinate young people and encourage them into astronomy.

I discussed with my son about giving another class at his school in Ft.Worth. Last year there was a lot of interest among his students on this subject. It may be fun.
