Soyuz Successfully Descends Into Kazakhstan

The three-man spacecraft touched down around 7:31 CDT carrying Russian cosmonaut Mikhail Tyurin, Mike Lopez-Alegria, this being his fourth trip into space, and American space tourist Charles Simonyi , Earth's fifth space tourist, who paid $25 million USD for the much coveted round trip, space shuttle experience.

attitude of the cosmonauts

I wonder what kind of attitude the cosmonauts have towards the space tourists accompanying them?

Considering that they have probably spent years and years training does anyone reckon that they might be resentful towards those paying for their ticket?

Space Tourists

You know, Marc, I think maybe they can go both ways on this one:
Whereas these Space Tourists' $$ is helping to sustain the space program, and that is a positive thing, I agree with you in that the program is open to anyone with several extra million and a clean bill of health. Hmmmmmm.. maybe this is a good question to ask one of them next time I get the chance!
