Noob question

I have a 25mm Barlow lens and a F6mm lens, and have been told they can be used together to amplify my view. However, I cannot seem to find a way to do that. can someone please explain?

I wish I could be more help to you , unfortunatly I am very new myself. I just got my first scope which is an ETX 80 and this is how mine works. It has a built in x2 barlow lense then I have a 25mm and 9mm eye piece. So no matter which eye Piece I am using, i can activate the barlow lense and increase that eyepiece magnification x2. It would seem to me if you have a seperate barlow lense and eye piece, you would want to install the Barlow beneath the eye piece you intend to use.

others please chime in incase I am mistaken. I hope this helps

how to use a barlow lens

Place the barlow lens where you normally put the eyepiece then slot the eyepiece into the barlow lens. Simple really!

I'm not sure

Is a 25mm in fact a 2x barlow?

1) Remove your eyepiece
2) Place the barlow
3) Secure it in place
4) Place the eyepiece
5) Secure the eyepiece
6) Focus and voila!
