has anyone heard of a tektite found in California? I believe I have one I picked up west of Yuma about 20 miles. It weighs 73 grams and looks just like a Bediasite. I am trying to validate the specimen. Once I found it I looked for hours and even went back the next week and looked a full day only to find lots of volcanic glass but no tektites. I have some good photos if you want to see. Any experts in San Diego?[/img]

Todd: I got a message from Brian Burrer, another tektite god who heads the yearly tektite hunt here in TX. He would like to see a pic of your tektite. Please email me and I will hook you up with him.
