Welcome, Jan.
The sea is a great place to station one's self for observing due to darker skies away from the city lights.
Several years ago my husband and I had two boats. One on a lake and another larger one which we took out on the Gulf of Mexico.
Unfortunately he wasn't very interested in the night sky so he would party all night with his buds while I was out on the bow with my binoculars getting some great observing time in.
Wishing you well.

Lydia... this guy is a spammer...
And looking at the night sky and having buds, not the human type, can sure aid in one's comsological ponderings...

Owen: It seems that Yann came back and edited his message to put in all the crappy links. Don't worry we won't be seeing him around here anymore!
