Density of the Asteroid Belt

I have been searching the web trying to find the density of the asteroid belt. While I have found the density of several individual asteroids, I have not come across any information regarding the density of the belt as a whole.

I assume someone must have figured the density. . .anyone know what it is, or where I could find it?

Thanks!

Good afternoon :

I did a search on www.google.com and came up with several articles.
Here's one that MAY answer some of your questions.

Wishing you well.
