I live on the Northern Oregon coast and right now I can see a star that is blue , red, yellow , white off to the south of me. Can anyone else see it?

Perhaps you're seeing Sirius, the "Dog Star". It's low on the horizon and because of that its light has to travel through more of the Earth's atmosphere to get to your eye. This distorts it and makes it "flicker" and can be seen as many different colours.

Wow, do you think that was it? all sorts of colors and laying low in the horizon. It was beautiful.
