Apollo Lunar Panoramas

Hi Guys

Heres a few panoramas that I have assembled from NASA photos taken by the Apollo astronauts.

Each panorama was assembled in Photoshop from about 30 separate frames, which were painstakingly made to be completely seemless from one frame to the next. The final pans are about 30,000 pixels wide!!!

Heres a few examples:

Thanks

Where are the stars in the background?

Stars require long exposures to be able to show up in photographs, whereas the bright lunar surface required only a very short exposure. Therefore no stars appear in any of the Apollo photographs

Nice pictures, must be a great feeling to actually be the one in those pictures. I wonder how long it will be before commercial trips are within the average public's reach.
