Hey everyone. Im new here so this is my first post. I have had a few concers about NASA's plans for space flight. Someone i know mentioned that there will not be any more space flights after the one coming up this year. Is this true? What ever happend to landing on Mars? Im completely bummed about this news I heard. Also if this is untrue maybe someone could post about what they have heard they might plan?
tHanks for your time

I heard that the American government is suspending shuttle flights because of an aging shuttle fleet that is becoming to expensive to operate with an ailing economy. Basically there trying to save money. Thats what I heard.

Hmm I wonder if that means They would build a new shuttle and keep going? or no new missions. Because My hope is to be able to watch the "Mars LAnding" on live TV during my lifetime.
