Is there any online tools, that can give you an accurate azimuth and altitude of a planet by putting in your co ordinates of where you are looking from. I am getting frustrated there is one bright star I think it is Jupiter with three little stars beside it but I am not sure what I am looking at.

Stellarium
You can find this information in lots of sky-chart softwares. The one I like most is Stellarium (it is available freely on Mac, Windows and linux, and also available on the iPhone). Another one I like for the iPhone is Distant Suns.
Hope this helps.
