Sorry I've not been around here for a while

Hi everyone!

My apologies for slacking off here a bit lately with the posting. I have been chasing the wonderful world of landscape photography, so the astrophotography has taken a bit of a back-seat lately.

I have been out in nature, up mountains, creeks, waterfalls and lush valleys, taking pics of nature and wildlife as I cross it's path. I have been getitng up-close with the insect world, handling snakes and dodging wombats and kangaroos in the car to get to some of the more remote place.

Building a new website to cover it has also taken me away from the forum, but I have got it done. Pictures are available to view of the work I am up to on http://barryarmsteadphotography.webs.com/

Lot's of clouds, full moons, work and family commitments have kept me out of the observatory, but rest assured, I am aiming to get back in there real soon and get some more images of deep space out to you all!

Baz.

That's ok mate, we will both have to take a kick in the bum, give ourselves a slap and an uppercut, and get back to work!!!! Laughing

Before I'm launched to the great beyond, I want to visit Australia. Your pictures are wonderful.
