Mars Viewing times

Can someone please tell me about what time I can view the Planet Mars so I can look out for it? I Know it will be closest to earth on the 27th of this month. Around the 3rd of this Month I saw the planet to the Northeast around the time of 4:30am and the light from the sun was givin the look of the first quarter like you would see on the moon. As the sun rose the light from the sun was so much that it disappeared in the sky. Since then I have not seen it, so is there someone who can tell me when we would be able to see the red Planet for viewing.
